What does it take to digitally transform a national construction company from “just using technology” to a truly integrated approach among all project lifecycle stakeholders? Enter the collaborative partnership between McCarthy Building Companies and Revizto. We have often heard the saying “People, Process, Technology” in that order. Technology is the easy part – it’s getting people to rally around a common set of goals, unifying processes and then “connecting the digital threads” together, that is the magic trick for VDC professionals such as Alex Belkofer.
In late 2018, McCarthy made an intentional shift in their technology approach – moving from a “BIM-enabled Workforce” initiative, to a “Culture of Integrated Virtual Builders” mindset. Using BIM tools and having a VDC process was no longer just enough. It was time for a shift in approach that integrated VDC into the project lifecycle from the start. And with this shift would come new technology challenges that would be critical for weaving VDC processes and best practices into the project lifecycle more than ever before. This keynote will tell the tale of how the Revizto partnership with McCarthy came to be, how Revizto fit into the overall cultural shift at McCarthy of growing more ‘Integrated Virtual Builders’, and how VDC across the organization navigated this change among thousands of stakeholders to drive at the heart of valuable digital delivery.
As an Integrated Collaboration Platform, we believe in “Building Better Together”! Visit the Exhibit Hall to meet our amazing group of sponsors and exhibitors. Come learn new ways to leverage integrations and partnerships in your projects and don’t forget to stop by the Revizto booth to get your RevUP 2023 t-shirt!
The most critical factor in construction project delivery is effective decision-making. Collaboration, communication, and early teaming focused on critical decisions are key to project success. Technology is deployed in all phases, but how are we connecting the data to decision-making? This session will present strategies to enable project teams to leverage technology to improve decision-making.
Have you struggled to get a budget for innovation? Been frustrated by leadership that only sees cost of technology rather than value? This session will turn you into a Jedi Master at navigating corporate politics, implementing your digital strategy, and forcing your technology agenda.
AEC data originators are often ignored within the industry – those that are manufacturing and supplying the materials and systems the buildings are made from. In this session, Zolna will share how Revizto offered in a specific project the opportunity to leverage their interests in actively promoting their products while also enhancing the communication capabilities of the platform fully relevant to tasks at hand.

As a recovering project manager, Aaron took over technology in PCL’s Vancouver office thinking that 3D was for pretty pictures. 3 years later, the Vancouver BIM (and by extension Revizto) team has gone from 1 to 12 people and from pretty pictures to the foundation innovation in the district. Learn what changed for the district, including tools, techniques and workflows to get BIM out the hands of VDC staff and into the center of a project as Aaron takes you through his district’s BIM journey.

Arcadis began their Revizto journey back in November 2021. For a long time, we found it hard to scale a consistent solution which we could implement across a large range of different disciplines. This presentation will go into our thought processes and approach to how we have implemented Revizto+ within a large organisation. We will look at its advanced coordination features, as well as the development of our processes and workflows as we continue to use the platform to solve problems on projects. We will explore Revizto+ as a design coordination and data validation tool by showcasing real world examples that vary from small individual buildings to large multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects – all of which use similar coordination principles so we can continue to standardize our practices across Arcadis.
Become Revizto Expert Level 1 Certified! After completing Part 1 and Part 2 of the certification course, you will be ready to take the 75-minute exam. Pre-registration two weeks prior to the conference is required to access and download the Revizto project where the exam will take place.
