McCarthy Builders and Revizto Partnership usher’s in a New Era of Integrated Virtual Builders

Table of Contents

San Francisco, CA – McCarthy is widely known as one of the best builders in the United States – and their innovative adoption of technology has helped them achieve and sustain that reputation. Through that, a new era in the AEC industry has been born; The Age of Integrated Virtual Builders – and it is spearhead by McCarthy and their partnership with Revizto.

We have the responsibility as the builder, to help the designer inform constructibility into the process and get a more complete, holistic design with coordination factored into it before we start to build. We knew we needed to find a way to get our design team and our trade partner team in what he calls a common-dated environment – a single hub for collaboration, communication and issue tracking.

The McCarthy team has put their ideas into action by placing every model inside the Revizto platform as the single source for all model content and information, making it accessible to everyone. By doing so, they have seen an enormous uptick in cross-discipline communication and have been able to get and keep everyone on the same page while eliminating reworks in the process.

I have been a big believer I getting people at the beginning of projects, the partnering and collaboration side, to become unified ideally in with what should we be trying to work towards as an industry? How do you make this industry better? You need to have an application like this to be able to take things to the next level.

Revizto, an AEC industry-leading Integrated Collaboration Platform, has continuously placed major emphasis on strategic partnerships with the industry’s top organizations to shape their product – the McCarthy partnership has been no exception.

McCarthy’s Integrated Virtual Builder initiative aligns well with Revizto’s philosophy and our integrated collaboration platform. VDC should not just be a siloed tool for the team participating in coordination. We have worked together to create an industry-changing tool that brings the benefits of VDC to all stakeholders on the project.
