Certification Program Overview
Revizto’s certification program was developed in response to the increasing global demand as adoption of the platform grew. Our objective is to promote a common understanding and consistent use of Revizto across the industry.
Initially launched at Revizto’s inaugural global user conference, RevUP 2023, the certification program is designed to measure user skills and proficiency with Revizto, thus enabling individuals to differentiate themselves in the industry. Powered by RED Academy, it provides a hub for assessing skill levels within organizations, identifies training needs, and facilitates Revizto champions in gauging their partners’ competencies.
Revizto Expert Level 1 Certification:
Collaboration Essentials

Revizto Level 1 Certification focuses on everyday practical use of Revizto for all user types. If you have been using Revizto daily for a few months and want to demonstrate to your industry peers and potential employers that you have a solid foundation in Revizto, our Level 1 Revizto certification is for you.
Features and topics covered in Level 1 include:
- Essential navigation tools
- 2D and 3D workspaces
- Issue Tracker fundamentals
- Searching, object properties, and selection inspector
A few things to note before you get started:
- The course takes a maximum of 2 hours
- On average, the exam takes Revizto users 30 minutes to complete
- There is no limit on how many times you can take the exam
- 80% is the passing grade
- Level 1 is a prerequisite to take Level 2

Revizto Expert Level 2 Certification:
Coordination Mastery

Revizto Level 2 Certification focuses on using Revizto in the role of a BIM/VDC/DE Coordinator. If your daily activities in Revizto include facilitating clash detection, creating the federated model environment for other team members to utilize, and have likely been using Revizto for more than 6 months, this course is for you. Demonstrate to your industry peers and potential employers that you’re on your way to becoming a Revizto Expert with our Level 2 Revizto certification.
Features and topics covered in Level 2 include:
- Project roles and user permissions
- Working with Revizto templates
- Search set fundamentals
- Administering Revizto clash automation
- Automating clash detection and issue creation

Revizto Expert Level 3 Certification
The Expert Level 3 certification will launch in-person during RevUP 2025, on Monday, February 3rd in Washington, DC. Attendees of the user conference that have already passed Expert Level 1 and 2 will be able to register for the course at no additional cost. After the conference, Revizto will launch Expert Level 3 online for purchase in RED Academy.
FAQs
Can I bypass the preparation course?
Yes. Individuals with prior Revizto experience can opt to directly take the certification exam, bypassing the preparation course. This pathway is suitable for those confident in their Revizto knowledge and skills, although the course offers valuable learning opportunities for those who wish to enhance their understanding.
What do users receive when they become certified?
Upon successful completion, certified individuals will receive a personalized certificate with the date of certification and an authentication code.
Can I skip Expert Level 1 and take Expert Level 2?
No. Expert Level 1 is a prerequisite to take Expert Level 2.
What happens if I fail the exam?
You can retake the exam at no additional cost as many times as you like.
Will I get access to the course/exam for a limited amount of time after purchase?
No. We don’t limit access to the exam and course after purchase.
I am a user of Global eTraining, can I still take the exam there?
No. Starting in April 2024, Revizto certification courses and exams will be exclusively available via RED Academy.
I purchased certification via Global eTraining in the past but did not get to take the exam. What can I do?
If you purchased certification via Global eTraining between November 2023 and April 2024, please email your receipt and details of your purchase to redacademy@revizto.com. Those that purchased certification in this time frame will be able to access Level 1 certification course and exam at no additional cost in RED Academy.
I got Level 1 certification via Global eTraining previously. How can I get Level 2 certified via RED Academy?
Anyone who has completed the prerequisite of earning Revizto Expert Level 1 certification in Global eTraining, will be allowed to move forward and take Expert Level 2 in RED Academy. Simply email your valid certificate to redacademy@revizto.com to get started.
