Revizto and ALEC Deliver a First-of-its-Kind Art Experience in Abu Dhabi

Lausanne, Switzerland – October 14, 2025 – Revizto, the industry-leading collaboration platform for architecture, engineering, construction and operations (AECO) teams, has announced the successful completion of teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi, a multi-sensory art experience located in the Saadiyat Cultural District. The landmark experience opened its doors in April 2025 and marks a major milestone in cultural innovation and construction excellence in the Gulf.

Spanning 17,000 square meters, teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi redefines experiential art through immersive digital installations. The experience represents a creative collaboration between the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), Miral, Abu Dhabi’s leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences, and international art collective teamLab; with leading contractor ALEC Engineering & Contracting playing a central role in its execution as the general contractor.

From the outset, Miral and DCT Abu Dhabi made a strategic decision to mandate Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital coordination to enhance collaboration, accelerate delivery, and streamline post-construction facility management. ALEC selected Revizto as the primary coordination platform, connecting more than 600 team members and 20 specialized contractors.

Revizto streamlined 2D and 3D workflows, enhancing clash detection, and enabled real-time validation on site powered by augmented reality. As a result, the complex project was delivered on time and on budget. Additionally, the owners now have a digital twin, which they can rely on for enhanced facility management throughout the life of the building.
