The Revizto AI Manifesto

In the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AECO) sector, the cost of error is measured in millions and the risk to safety is absolute. We recognize that while our industry is evolving, there is an understandable resistance to unproven technology, because unproven tech isn't trustworthy. When project scope and risk are this massive, you need workflows and insights you can bank on.

At Revizto, we don’t chase trends; we build tools that work and solve real problems. We believe that AI should not be a black box of mystery, but a source of verifiable truth. As the industry moves towards applied technology, our commitment to being a lean, agile, and human-centric partner remains unchanged. This manifesto outlines how we are harnessing AI to supercharge our team and provide unparalleled value to our users, without losing the human touch that sets us apart.

Our Core Principles

  • Sovereign by design. In the era of AI, data integrity is non-negotiable. Data is the most valuable asset for any organization - for Revizto, our customers, and our partners. Whether we are optimizing internal workflows or building new product features, we prioritize the absolute protection of information. We build open, not closed, ensuring our AI enhances your data without holding it hostage. Our customers always maintain full ownership and control over where their data lives and how it is used.
  • Practicality > hype: We don’t lose sleep over AI hype cycles. We are vigilant, but we are practical. Every AI implementation – internal or external – must pass a simple test: Does it solve a real-world problem, improve accuracy, or save time? If it doesn’t add tangible value to the workflow, it doesn’t belong in our stack.
  • Relentlessly human. We believe AI should sharpen human intuition, not replace it. We leverage AI across all business functions to uplevel our team, ensuring we are more available to listen and solve problems alongside you. Our technology is designed to strip away the noise of data management and liberate your experts to focus on the design and safety of the build. We provide the open infrastructure that keeps the human professional firmly in control, backed by a Revizto team that is better equipped to serve.

Internal Operations: The Lean Advantage

While large, legacy competitors undergo massive organizational transformations to “trim fat” and modernize operations, Revizto remains a lean, high-performance machine.

  • Operational Excellence: Across Finance, Sales, Marketing and Product, we are building novel workflows to work smarter and faster. By automating high-volume administrative tasks, we are reclaiming thousands of collective hours, allowing our teams to focus on high-impact strategy and direct customer support.
  • Next-generation Product Development: We are setting a new standard for how modern Product teams operate. We believe that to build the future, you must master its tools; as such, we’ve established AI-skill requirements and OKRs for every member of our engineering team. This commitment to next-generation skillsets and tools is already enabling us to accelerate discovery and rapidly translate customer needs into functional prototypes.

External Application: Unlocking the Open and Secure AECO Ecosystem

We are building a bridge, not a walled garden. Our product roadmap focuses on a robust API and the adoption of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to ensure Revizto remains an open, interoperable platform with the highest security standards. What this means for customers:

  • Absolute Data Control: By connecting your own LLMs directly to our API via MCP, your sensitive project data never leaves your environment. You retain 100% ownership while the AI comes to the data, not the other way around.
  • Strategic Flexibility: We don’t lock you into a single, proprietary AI. Our open approach gives you the freedom to choose the specific models you trust most, ensuring your AI strategy can evolve as fast as the technology does.
  • Trusted, Risk-Reducing Insights: By providing AI with direct access to real-time project context, we move beyond generic automation. We fuel faster, automated reporting that gives you the foresight to budget overruns and scheduling risks—turning data into a verifiable truth you can use to protect your project program.

The Revizto Difference

The future of AECO shouldn’t be dictated by a single vendor’s roadmap or an opaque algorithm. We are building a bridge to a more open, accountable era, one where Revizto acts as the vital connective tissue between your data and your preferred AI. By mastering these tools internally to uplevel our own performance, we ensure that as the industry accelerates, our focus remains exactly where it belongs: on the humans who build the world. Ultimately, our aim is to provide the trust you need to innovate, backed by a team that is always ready to solve alongside you.

FAQs

No. We prioritize data sovereignty. We do not use customer data to train global AI models without explicit consent.

Importantly, right now Revizto is not integrating AI into our product. Our focus is on providing an API that allows customers to connect their own models to their data, ensuring they maintain 100% ownership and control.

Think of MCP as a "universal translator" for AI. Just as a USB port allows any device to connect to any computer, MCP allows any AI model (like ChatGPT, Claude, or a company’s private LLM) to securely "read" and interact with Revizto data through our API.

Traditional APIs require a developer to manually map data fields. Our MCP Server does the heavy lifting for you—it translates our complex BIM and Issue data into a format that AI models natively understand. It’s the difference between giving a translator a dictionary (API) versus giving them a live, fluent interpreter (MCP). It speeds up your internal AI development by months.

No. The MCP Server acts as a strictly governed gatekeeper. You define exactly what 'Tools' and 'Resources' are exposed. For example, you can give an AI the tool to 'Read Clash Status' but not the permission to 'Delete Issues.' Every request made by an AI through the MCP Server is authenticated via your Revizto credentials and is fully logged for auditing.

Yes. This is the core of our MCP (Model Context Protocol) strategy. We provide a Revizto MCP Server that acts as a secure bridge. Instead of building a custom integration for every AI tool you use, you simply connect your AI to our MCP Server. It allows your external AI agents to 'ask' Revizto for clash data, project status, or sheet metadata in real-time using our API, without you having to write a single line of code.

Yes. Because our strategy is built on Data Sovereignty, we are uniquely positioned for compliance:

  • Client-Side Execution: Our API allows customers to connect their chosen LLMs to the data hosted within Revizto. Since the AI processing happens within their own controlled environment (client-side) rather than being forced through a proprietary Revizto black box, customers maintain full oversight of the "High-Risk" data processing requirements.
  • Transparency: We don't hide how our tools work. Our "Open, not Closed" approach aligns with the Act’s requirements for technical documentation and transparency.
