The Revizto API just got a lot more powerful

For too long, the richest data in a construction project has been the hardest to reach. BIM models hold fire ratings, material specifications, system types, and quantities. Yet oftentimes, extracting any of this data meant opening a heavy application, running a manual export, cleaning an incredibly dense spreadsheet, and emailing a file that quickly becomes outdated by the time it lands in an inbox.

The Revizto API has always been about closing that gap. It started with the coordination layer: issues, clashes, user management. Today, with the launch of the Model & Object Properties endpoints, it covers even more.

What's new

The new Model & Object Properties endpoints give external tools direct, read-only access to object-level model metadata — without opening the Revizto application. You can now query:

• Object parameters: for example, type, material, system, quantity, custom properties 
• Model metadata: synchronization timestamps, author, custom properties

That means the data that used to live exclusively inside the model is now queryable from any system in your stack like BI tools or custom integrations (cost estimation platforms, FM systems, procurement workflows).

Who is this for?

The Model & Object Properties API is primarily for the people who move data. These endpoints are built for technical users – data analysts, digital delivery leads, and systems integrators – who want to build automated pipelines, live dashboards, or custom integrations on top of Revizto data. If you're comfortable with REST APIs, you can start querying today.

• If you're a data engineer or analyst building pipelines that feed BI tools and custom reports, this replaces your manual extraction process with a queryable data stream.
